Alex was born in Manchester in 1978 and was brought up in Sale, Cheshire.

By the age of 15 she was already six feet tall so modelling was something everyone always encouraged her to do and her brothers friend took her to an agency in Manchester. They snapped her up and by the time she left school an agent from London had arranged for her to give the fashion capital a six week trial. She never looked back and was soon jetting around the world visiting places beyond her wildest dreams such as Necker Island, Richard Branson’s private island.

She enjoyed an incredibly successful and lucrative career and still does a lot of modelling work to this day. She has worked with top photographers such as David Bailey, Rankin and David La Chappelle, been the face of many campaigns such as Ultimo and Lynx and has even made the prestigious list of FHM’s 100 sexiest women in the world.

Alex has modelled on catwalks across the world for a host of top designers, including Betty Jackson, Tristan Webber and Jasper Conran. She moved to London after signing for model agency Premier and has graced the cover of magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Harpers and Queen and Cosmopolitan.

She has also been Jasper Conran's underwear girl as well as an Ultimo model. Bra tycoon Michelle Mone said "Alex is a beautiful girl and a good model. She was an Ultimo girl about four or five years ago and is a lovely girl."
